Thank you for visiting the Polk County Cat Coalition (“PCCC”) website. We work within the community rescuing animals, creating families and ultimately saving lives.

The PCCC is run by volunteers, who take animals into their homes and care for them — including training, playing, handling medical issues, and solving behavior problems until a loving permanent home is found.

We are excited to be a part of saving animals, providing shelter, veterinary care and being a loving friend to our pets. It’s our mission to find permanent FUR-Ever homes for all of our animals.

You can also find us on Facebook for all the latest adoption information, events and pet photos.

8/20/2012: A sweet, independent, and loving kitty named Kisha passed away yesterday and to honor her memory her family has donated to Polk County Cat Coalition. $1000 to be used toward enclosure protection for cats. Our hearts are saddened for this family, we know loosing a furry family member is very difficult.
